Lowest Total Cost of Ownership
By migrating current database-drive applications to the app, or using the tool for new development projects, corporations are realizing cost savings that many times stretch into seven figures.
Also Available: Download MySQL for Windows
  1. Install MySQL on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) My real issue was to upgrade my Mac from system 10.5 to 10.6 and in the process upgrade MySQL to 64-bit. My original MySQL install on 10.5 followed that.
  2. Download the disk image (.dmg) file (the community version is available here) that contains the MySQL package installer. Double-click the file to mount the disk image and see its contents. It will be named according to the MySQL version and the OS X version you have chosen. For example, if you have downloaded the package for MySQL 5.6.48.
